I'm about to make the switch from Sprint PCS. I happy with Sprint's service, but their phones just don't get me excited. I'm now considering Cingular and AT&T Wireless. I'm really interested in the Nokia 6820 (if you have any thoughts on this phone, please share). It sounds like AT&T Wireless is going to offer it soon. This makes me lean towards them. However, I've heard so many bad things about this company. Should I just bite the bullet and choose a phone from Cingular? Any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I'm looking for a fairly priced phone that has at least Bluetooth as one of it's features. My wife has the Sony Ericsson T610 from T-Mobile. I really like this phone. However, the Nokia 6820 has EDGE technology...

Thanks for your response, Marcus.

Question: Will Cingular offer the Nokia 6820. This is the phone that I'm really interested in. It looks like ATTWS is going to offer it within the next week or so. Cingular could make my decision very easy if they would just offer it. I like the 6800, but I want a phone with bluetooth.

I really don't know noone know at this point till the phones are in stores. AT&T wireless does not know either. At&t and cingular usally use the same Nokia's. I would guess yes cingular will carry it.

I do not expect it soon. (Within a week or so.)

I usually get display models of phones we are planning on (or sometimes, thinking of) adding. I have not seen one yet for the 6820.

What seems to happen with these things is that one company will lead with a particular item as an 'exclusive', then the other will see a suspiciously-similar item (perhaps the 6825?) a few months later.
