It's seems to me the only thing anyone comes here to do is complain about the horrible life altering experience that caused terrible pain and suffering. Now I know it is frustrating when things don't go the way you expect but the problems are the minority of all of the customer experiences. I'm sure there are atleast 40 million people out there that are completely happy with their service. It is a shame that it can't be perfect all the time, but that is impossible.

And I know that occationaly people call in and get excellent service. I know because that's the only service I give. For example a girl on my team got recognition because a customer sent a letter to the office of the president, saying how happy she was with the attention she g...

I can't recall any specifics, but a majority of the time, when I call in, I get good service. Ahh, one comes to mind. I had a problem with a bill back in 2001 where I was charged for all of my NW calls (actually happened again last year). Well, it got sent to review twice and was rejected both times for me to get a credit. I called her and told her she wasn't leaving (I made sure she didn't have to go home soon or anything) until she either hung up on me or we got this figured out. I think back then, I wasn't able to receive my bill online, so her and I both went through every call on my account, totalling about 20 pages, and added up all of the daytime calls. It took over 2 hours, but we got it done. She then took it to her superviso...

Why do you have to call in so much? What are the circumstances?

I've had one problem with Cingular... That's it.

All the time I am with Cingular and not having a problem (which is all the time except once) I consider it a wonderful experience and wonderful service.

Sure, sometime I dont have full bars, can I still make a call? Yup!

Sure, sometimes I dont have any bars and so what? There's a boat load of other things in this world that arent perfect but people dont complain about those, sos top complaining about your imperfect cellular service! Regardless of the fact that it may get frustrating.

Cingular gives me constant reliable service 95% of the day. I don't expect 100%, Im not in search of perfection.

In conclusion, I have a great experience with Cingular most of the day every day...

I would just like to say, I love you, and I wish all customers in the world can see what you just wrote.

I think the man jesus said it best when he said "those without sin may cast the first stone".. or something along those lines.

This is a great point, we all need to be more positive, both regarding work and our personal lives. I've lately tried to make a point of giving my boss at least one piece of good news every day, cause all he ever gets are problems to deal with.

I've had people tell me that my sales associates give excellent service, and that they really appreciate the way they are treated when they come in my store. Of course I always pass these compliments along to my SAs. I can't really think of a specific situation, but I know they have happened.

Positive Mental Attitude, with it you can!

I am an employee and I also have the service. But with anyother carrier in the past you can expect them all to be perfect.

When I 1st got GSM I am not gonna lie it SUCKED but when we joined ATT & Cingular my bars did go UP in certain locations but my receprion is CRAP at work, lol but who cares I know. I get complaints and compliments all the time, just yesterday I had a customer compliment on the GREAT job I was doing and how I was a good asset to this company simple because everyone else screwed him around.

Think about there are 50 million customers and about 2.5$ (just a guess) call and compalin and it is the same ones everyday.

Always remember you can only handle one situation at a time. No matter how long it takes just as...

I have to say, the I only have had one bad experience out of the 6 or so times that I have called, which in all reality isnt that great as every call should be good. That one particular time I was sent in circles from rep to rep trying to find out about my order, and I ended up getting hung up on. Otherwise my other calls have been fine, I even got a rep to credit me for a ringtone that was never sent to me.

Being an employee, I hate to say anything negative about Cingular, because I love the fact that I work for the company. The vast majority of problems that I've had with cingular has been training issues...it is rare that apathetic people that just want you off their phone slip through the cracks. I've worked for cingular for nearly two years now, and I couldn't be more proud of that fact.
