For those of us who spend all day on PhoneScoop...
I work as a customer service rep for a music company. I am also the electronic communications specialist, meaning that I handle all communications regarding customers orders placed online, via email. Also, I handle all processing of online orders. It doesnt sound important, but I am the only one who knows how to do it. I had to actually train someone how to do it for a week when I took my vacation.
We have over 10,000 active customers weekly, but only require 3 customer service reps. Convergys takes all of our orders.

I'm a Customer Service Rep for Cingular Blue TDMA side 🙂
I loved when i did TDMA, Axys is AWEsome. Before all the plans and promitons became expired on TDMA, you can have a customer call in and change the plan and backdate to the begin of the billing cycle, and depending on whether you like the customer or not, it would work out in your benefit 😈 😈 😈
(orange side) now im getting ready to move to tech
Formerly was also a Divested Blue MArket sales/support rep (until said markets were sold)

I miss that phone...
Goodness NO!!! My first phone was a Nokia 2190. It was built to last though. I dropped it in a toilet & it still works to this day!

We're contracted by small corporations and large ones alike. We're even contracted by several phone carriers like Nextel and even Cingular. Other contracts more notable contracts are Lockheed Martin and General Motors.
On top of which, we're also contracted to do high profile events such as the Oscars, Emmys, Word Series, World Cup, and so on.
I myself work on a contract for Office Depot, in Carol Stream, IL.
Sweet lazy job.... pay sucked 🙂
Was the Night gaurd for a downtown office building in Edmonton, Canada.
I was such a bad security gaurd. Not that I recieved any training to speak of.

Employees fighting in the cafeteria is fairly typical, sometimes it's not so bad but other times it gets very aggressive. On one occasion I got cut with a box cutter down my arm and needed stitches and another time I got stabbed with a box cutter trying to stop the fights.
Now, having these 2 experiences I've decided to toss out my companys policy when it comes to dealing with hostile situations such as that. Even though I wasnt the ta...

I'm not the type to give up too quickly, I guess I'm stubborn and persistant when it comes to certain things.

What do you do all day other than this? Do you work for the company directly, a 3rd party dealer or something totally different. What exactly do you do?
