yea, i agree. what impressed me was an increase of data arpu, and the excellent progess with the merger integration. (allthough it doesnt show it with these outages and problems)
another thing that impressed me was their churn level going down, however, its just one quarter, so we will have to see for the full year 2005.
but yea, i agree. (i mean they didnt shock me with the number, i actually thought they would get 1.8 million or somewhere in that area, but i guess not obviously)

Cingular added 1.4 million, reduced churn by about 20 basis points. Those are facts.

its a compliment, however, i think cingular needs to get better then 1.4 million and have the integration of the networks to be better then it has been.

yea, i want arpu to stay in the $50 range not under it like it is, however, this is just the 1st quarter and we got 3 more quarters for that number to be above $50. what i do like, though, is that their data arpu has been steadily increasing due to their text messaging and data features.

I am not siding with anyone here or defending some of Nextel's posts or ideas, but I do not believe (especially here lately) that he is just in here to bash on Cingular. He has always had information from a credible source. We just don't like hearing it if it is bad. He just likes to debate and discuss. Everyone seems to take it very personal. On the other hand, nextel... you need to understand where you post sometimes. Not everyone is going to play your way.

All he says is bad, bad, bad this about Cingular and tries to spew garbage about Nextel, Sprint, and Verizon (who he does not have service with). I pointed a few things out to him the other day and he pops an attitude because I called him out on his crap. He comes with information but he uses it to incite things because he is dilusional about Cingular's future prospects.

Well, he posts information and adds his opinion or projection in many cases. The problem with adding your opinion or stating a theory or projection is that it needs logical backup. Nextel18 has many of those with no real backup. When you call him on his theories he doesn't take it too well. I'm sorry, but nextel18 has much to learn about business and the world and this 21 yo second guessing people like Ed Whitacre and Stan Sigmund is just funny to me. I used to be 21 and arrogant too, but then I grew up (just a little though).

yea, i guess that is the case, however, dont you think its better if they just discuss instead of bashing? i mean over and over again i state that my intentions are only to debate and discuss not humiliate and torture, however, people dismiss that, for some reason i dont get.
