A630 is real!!!
Ok so on the a630 forum someone claimed they have a Cingular branded a630. Well someone is also claiming they are selling one on ebay. So I checked it out and emailed the person to send me pics and they did and it is in fact Cingular branded. I also got a picture of the box that had the Cingular brand all over it. Are there any other reps in here that have any news on this?

I had a customer come in and her father works for Moto and has a Cingular branded version... But I have heard nothing about us relaunching it

In reply to all the other replies, that's funny - I went to Cingular two days ago and got a Motorola A630 😎 ...
However, there's no technical support (yet?) for this phone - no downloadables, etc. for Motorola A630. Strange.
I only got this phone because Cingular took over SunCom which offered the HipTop, and, well, Cingular will no longer support the HipTop...
Don't tell me that Cingular gave me a dud?!? I mean, they did offer me the choice between LG F9100 and Moto A630... Should I have taken the LG F9100? 😢

no, you should have got a nokia 6820, at least its not full of problems like the LG or the motorola

Well, see, LG F9100 and Moto A630 were the only ones Cingular offered in exchange for my HipTop AKA Sidekick...
What is Nokia 6820? Same functions as the HipTop? I'm not interested in actually buying a new phone from Cingular... If I have to buy a new phone, it'll be a Sidekick II from T-Mobile!!
