Rumors of the iPhone coming to Verizon Wireless may have some consumers in the U.S. wondering about resulting cost savings for the device. But will more competition really mean lower prices?

Verizon hasn't confirmed any of the rumors about getting the iphone and probably wont be for a couple years now. I work for Verizon and haven't heard anything but rumors about getting the iphone.
Sprint is getting it in 2-3 months from now... on 4G no less. If anything, this should trigger the price war! 😎
