I need advice..........PLEASE! :cry:

Here is my problem....

I work for CellONE and our activation fee for new activation is $35. I have a customer who had 9 lines and was thinking about adding a 10th line. I told him, based on his good service with us, there was a good chance I could get the fee waved on the 10th line. And, I could have, but then.....

There was a recall on LG3200 and we started offering $30 off Audiovox 8910 and one month free for those who wanted the LG (made 8910 FREE after rebate). Unfortunately, this this offer made it impossible for me to get the wave approved. The rate plan was $16.95, so the total savings were $46.95, as opposed to $35. The activation fee had not been brought up for some time (and I never promised it would be waved), so I did...

You should tell the customer to stop being so cheap. The next time he/she wants a line activated send them somewhere else. The money your store has made off them (if any) probably wasn't worth the headache it's caused you.

I don't work with anybody on here. 🙂

As for what to do with that guy, I would just explain to them that since he did get the better deal you won't be able to do that. Just explain that you were trying to assist him when you got him the other phone for the cheaper price.
