Question for people that have bought phone from overseas

I'm trying to find out what taxes i should expect to pay if i order a phone from the UK. I found an HTC hero for cheaper then the ones selling in the states but if the taxes are to high it wont be worth it. Any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks

yeah i did a conversion and it said that it was 580 with shipping usd. ALl the dealers in the usa have it for over 600 before shipping plus they dont have it in stock.

yes i know this... i live in a small town no 3g anyways so it doesnt matter and by the time we do have 3g im sure i will have a new phone as i dont keep phones for more then 6 months.
