I know many bluetooth phones are equipped with USB ports now I don't really know how this works but is it possible to connect my ipod to the phone with bluetooth through USB and then play it through my car's speakers? Just a thought.

I would guess it wouldn't work. There would have to be some kind of software on either the iPod or the handset to get them to communicate.

If you want your iPod to work through your stereo, either get an iTrip ($15) or a compatibale CD player. The iTrip is just an attachement that will broadcast through a radio station that you setup. There are CD players out now that you can plug your firewire or USB cable into as well.
