Almost sounded as if she got a better offer at a different carrier or a better paying job period. I've seen some posts that have mentioned the pay. Way too low, you guys should get paid more! Too many hats to wear for that pay. My company has a entire department for each hat you guys wear.

Actually, no. I quit of my own accord.

I became a social worker. People just called in to bitch and complain. Not even for my assistance. They just wanted to bitch to me like i cared or could do anything about it.

My job at cingular became that of a social worker, becuase i had to listen to everyone's personal woes.

Okay, that makes more sense! So what are you going to do instead?

Well how do you feel that the merger made you quit your job? After all the merger is the cause of everyones problems and the ultimate decision to turn you from a counsellor to a social worker.
