Blackberry Bold Issues?

CaliBoarder

I have 3 friends who currently have the Bold, and have witnessed problems like the phone restarting on its own, dropping lots of calls, etc.

I'm by no means a rival carrier fan boy because I've worked for Sprint, T-Mobile, ATT, and currently have Verizon.. so those that flame me are stupid.

Anyone else with a bold having issues? I'm thinking about switching to ATT but hesitant..

Thanks for your time.

My only gripe is poor battery life. Of course I talk around 2500 minutes a month and recieve about 20-30 emails a day on it.
No dropped calls, but I am in an EDGE only location.

...true. I work for warranty for ATT, and have gotten an inordinate amount of calls on this phone. However, I'm noticing most of the issues are with the phones that were purchased in November, since that was the first month it was released. I have gotten very few calls on phones bought after that timeframe, so I think you might be OK if you got one now.

resets about once every other day - I updated the OS to 4.6.0.237, and haven't had a problem since. That OS update also has an icon for visual voicemail (which isn't provisioned yet)
