ok, i carry the blackberry curve 8310. Can someone please tell me why it keeps deleting all of my messages? It does it like twice a day! Our RAE came and did a phone visit the other day and I was telling him about that, and said "well your phone is trying to make more memory because you probably have to much stuff on your phone" well i deleted opera, windows live search, all my music and pictures are on my memory card, i mean I dont have anything extra on this phone. I mean I know phones, I can sell them, but I can't figure out what the issue is. Everyone I work with never seems to help me out, they just say "oh its a blackberry" It all of a sudden started to happen this week. Can anyone help me out? Go to status under the options menu. See if it says how much free memory you have. If it says there is no free memory then you have to find out what is eating up so much of your memory. Also, try the following things.

1. Clear your event logs. Hold down the "alt" key and hit l,g,l,g then hit options and delete the log.

Thanks so much for your advice! I actually found about 10 pictures that were on my device and so I transfered them to the media card. I also got rid of some programs I never use. Also, my company FINALLY put the blackberry data package on my account and it seems like the phone is running alot smoother too, and seems to be helping out alot! It has not deleted my messages or call log since that actually, and I have 3 e-mail accounts up as well as the new myspace application. Well thanks for the advice!
