its a VZW exclusive perhaps for life, as long as VZW can meet sales goals.

Well you can put ANY media you want on it right from your computer without converting it , it even accepts i tunes, plus you get use ur rhapsody subscription with it.

You also have your choice of suretype, full QWERTY or T9 for messaging options.

I also love the copy paste out the box , as well as the Excel/Power Point and Word editing options.

Plus it gets 3g support ( apparently even the new curve is not getting this ), but att coverage sux for this ( less than 30%, thats terrible ), so I guess VZW is the way to go anyway since they have far superior coverage in that aspect.

Even though I think it's great that you guys finally get a good phone. Let's not forget that all those capabilities that you mentioned may be on the Vodafone's version, and not on the verizon version. I say taking into consideration what they've done to previous devices. I hope to be wrong on this one though. Otherwise, there'll be a lot of you pissed off out there, again.

all the features of the vodafone device is the same on vzw, and vzw actually gets the one wih more perks, pre installed 9 gigs of memory and free headphones with it as well.

i dont know if i am getting this yet as I have been waiting on a good looking omnia, but it is definetly tempting me since i just learned my lesson on the i phone.never ever again will i switch networks for a phone, i will definetly be interested in what device i get but i am more interested in true 3g coverage and truly good call quality.

Do you have any idea where this Verizon crackhead gets this idea that the BB Storm has 9gigs of internal memory??? Cause it doesn't.

Let's not be rude... But yeah, I didn't think it had that much memory either. I think he works for the red V, so he should know what he's talking about...

I think they were referring to the 1g of internal memory and the 9g memory card that's pre-installed...

Yeah, I think your right about him working for the evil red, kinda funny, it's like we're talking about them like they're Russia and this is the cold war.

Another reason I think he works for evil red is he outright refuses to believe me that I have been getting faster speeds on my phone since this past Friday, I agree it is certainly possible the bandwidth test I've been using could be questionable, especially considering my N95-3 only has a 3.6mbps chip, but I have no doubt at all that web pages have been loading a whole heck of a lot faster recently. No doubt at all web pages have been loading faster.

I said 9 gigs of memry is coming with the phone. 9 gigs

The best smartphone ever??? There will be a market an entire it will missing, the market for people who prefer physical keyboards! You are a BB Storm crackhead! ! !

It's kinda hard for me to be jealous of ANY phone, considering I own the Nokia N95-3! ! !

Im assuming that he means that it comes with 1GB and they are selling an extra 8GB micro card. Even the BB reps I've talked to don't seem to hyped on the Storm. I would assume that once Verizon has sold a certain amount that it will be on ATT. Or buy an unlocked Vodaphone version and throw your sim in.

I guess he's too dumb to articulate 1GB internal + 8GB microsd card. Smart consumers don't buy memory cards from cell phone stores, the're a rip off.

Anyway I am so, so sick of Verizon crackheads! They are so grossly ****y about they network, it's like that network advertisement brainwashes them!

I've been with AT&T 7yrs, I'm plenty happy with them. I've come across someone that has a Verizon phone for his work, and he told me when he's on the far west side of Las Vegas near the foothills of the mountains, in the Red Rock area he has no signal and has to wait to get his voicemail msgs, but his AT&T phone works just fine in the Red Rock area.

I'm just sick of Verizon crackheads.

And I felt like ranting.

As stated elsewhere, buy an unlocked Vodafone 9500 and pop your sim in. Bam. No US 3G but if you want US 3G get a Bold.

one- VZW is including an 8 gig memory card pre installed and the device has a gig of memory in it already

two- vzw is also giving free sim card with it pre installed as well

three- you will not be able to unlock the vodafone version of the storm since it will only work on a vodafone network and will not respond over here in the states ( so either move to another country or live with your bland bold)

four- the storm is a LIFE TIME exclsuive, any spin offs of the device will land with VZW or Vodafone or both as well, and they will remain an unlockable item for as long as this line lasts.

five- 3g bold LMFAO....yeah sure if you live in that 28% of america.

six- VZW now can claim to be king of all networks with the best ...

wow Jay

when you happen to stumble upon a clue, then come back and let me know....I would be interested to see how you react if you even had a tiny itsy bitsy bit of knowledge.

but right now, it is obvious you have none. since the storm is reliant upon internet connectivity to perform, you are obviously missing the whole picture.
