3G network has been upped in Las Vegas! ! ! Anywhere else?

I have been getting regular speeds, not bursts, of well above 2mbps, I've even gotten above 3 & 4mbps. Again, these are not bursts, I've gotten very few speeds below 2mbps since early today. This is way, way exciting.

Anybody else in other cities getting much higher speeds than they have recently?

I have been seeing the same thing on my unlocked N95-3 that I got on ebay. I only have the unlimited media net.

My gf's tilt with the PDA plan is not getting those kind of speeds.

I wish I could somehow get the $15 dollar plan on her phone! 😲

Dude! I'm using the same exact phone! ! ! N95-3! Loaded with Opera Mini 4.1, and using Cnet Bandwidth Test. I am so frinkin psyched!!! TRUE broadband speeds in the palm of my hand!

So you said your gf has the Tilt and has not been getting improved speeds? Where do you live? I'm in Las Vegas.

How do you test the speed on your phone? Are you using that Cnet link? I've never used it. I'd like to know what speed I come up with on my k850... 🙂

Here's the link to the Cnet Bandwidth Test site that I use, do some tests where you work an live, not just one place. My phone, the N95-3 hasn't dipped below 2mbps in the past 3 days, many times even in the high 3mbps!!!

What city do you live in?

Here's the link:

So, do you go to that link about while tethering? or do you go to the link from your phone. I dont have a tethering plan.

I don't have a tethering plan, nor do I believe in having to pay more to tether because the ONLY difference between internet on my phone and laptop is screen size, because of mobile web browsers such as Opera Mini 4.1, and Skyfire web pages do look the same on my N95-3 as the do on a pc. Nokia N series handset are really, really easy to tether I just downloaded Nokia PC Suite v7.0, hook my phone up mini usb to usb, and click connect to internet. But speeds are not comparable when tethering I am lucky to hit 900kbps, my handset loads web pages a whole heck of a lot faster.

No 3G here but 550.2 Kbps on EDGE here in northern Arizona.
I think that speed is unattainable on EDGE so the validity of the test is in question, and trust me.... its not all that fast.
Test done with Nokia N95-3

I've got the same handset you do, I switched dual mode 3G off, an went to EDGE, and got damn near 4mbps, so as you mentioned the bandwidth test may be questionable, but I can definetly say web page have been loading a whole heck of a lot faster since early Friday.

LMAO

you guys are all full of crap. no way in the world your speed testing at this speed. sorry but the people in baltmore beta testing the sprints new network connections arent pumping this out. you guys are just getting the first real taste of 3g , because edge is going to make you crawl . sad you have to all lie constantly, but whenever the speeds are tested in these areas they never register anywhere near that.

I'm no storyteller, and unlike yourself, I'm not a crackhead of my carrier.

Web pages have been loading consistently faster since this past Friday, that's the truth, not some bs fairy tail.

The point in posting that link is to prove that I am NOT the only one getting well above 2mb's.

Sorry for you that you aren't getting higher speeds, I guess I'm grateful to be with AT&T!!!

Screenshots can't be posted in the Phone Scoop forums, that I know of anyway. So that is the reason I posted a link to result that I got on Cnet't Bandwidth Test website.

I told you !ALREADY!...I am not a story teller.

Web pages have been loading a whole lot faster on my phone since Friday.
