If you have done and seen 1/2 of what I have when and if you become my age and own a home free and clear and be totally debt free you will be thanking God everyday. Believe me.
I have the time to do this. Its but a blip in my day. A day I have mostly for myself. This is entertainment, all be it not as much fun as you playing Guitar Hero I suppose.

Glad to hear your service is going to improve Joe but don't do anything crazy like sign a contract.
Even if they had a phone you liked you'd have to unbrand it to get rid of all the bloatware....too much bother.

I have no issues with contracts but what do I get for the commitment. Im going to stay with ATT anyway. I have invested in N95's. But unless the Carriers get off the free and or subsidized express and offer and use se...

To be honest, AT&T benefits from a customer such as yourself much more than one who signs a new contract every 18 months. You are a revenue stream that does not require a kickback every two years. So you are constant profit and no cost.
Honestly, you stated you were going to stay with AT&T anyway, contract or not, so what is AT&T gaining by having you sign a contract?
One way you are using the service and AT&T has to eat several hundred dollars on an equipment subsidies, the other way you are using the service with no additional cost to the company.
