Call Failed while in a call??
Anyone have an issue where you are in the middle of a call, you have 3-5 bars and while talking, you heard a tone (like the number disconnected tone?) and the call ends. This has happened to me and my gf, I have a bb 8310, she has a nokia 6555 and were in the upstate ny market area. any help would be appreciated!

I have a BB 8310 too and have noticed the same thing the last few weeks. I think its the BB not the service. I have had it the last few weeks where the Edge goes to GPRS then to GSM then to no service then to EDGE again. This happens when I get the call failed sign.

Im not sure what the issue is myself. I have a LG CU500(old school lol but i love the phone) and my GF has the LG shine and we get this all the time to even when we both have great service. I also get this on my pearl 8100. Its the weirdest thing i have ever seen and i have not been able to get a reason out of ATT as to why this happens and i work for them and they still cant tell me and i still cant figure it out so i feel your pain on that one

It happened again this morning. Everyone that I know with a BB Curve has said the same thing. I never had a problem with my CU500 or any other ATT phones including the Pearl. I personally think its BB and not ATT.
My friends are also having their Curves delete all text, call records and email randomly. Anyone else with that problem.

yeah i actually went to a training last week for bb and what they said is that if you are storing things to the device rather than the memory card your phone will delete call logs, messages!
, contacts in order for the processors to function. so get a micro sd memory card. as far as the calls i would lose connection randomly too. this is a blackberry issue.

I have a Micro SD. It just started a couple of weeks ago with the same amount of items that I had since I got it.

Don't forget to mention that the Verizon Curve has more built in memory to the risk of deleting you call and message history is lessened.
