I'm thinking about quiting my current job with VZW and getting a job with an different carrier. I'm wondering realistically how much an average sales rep in an Att corporate store makes a year. I hate Verizon but can't really afford to take an pay cut but i don't think i can take it much longer.

AvgJoe, just curious... what did you move on to after you left the corporate world at age 39? Any regrets? What was your experience like up until the time you left?

Sorry if this is a bit OT.

Not at all. I as climbing the corporate ladder a a multinational, mentored by a great manager. One moring I had a meeting with him at 8AM...at 9 am my 52 year old mentor and great friend was pink slipped.......just like that.

I had the big house, two luxury car payments, toys, was married to someone who was into money and work and status as well and earned plenty as well.. That was my conditioning. Sales managers want you to be deep in debt and place value in things like Rolex watches and ostentati...

Well now MGM-Mirage is building $8.4B City Center between Monte Carlo and Bellagio, it has 6 towers, and a 500,000sq.ft. mall called The Crystals. Set to open Nov.09. City Center will employ 12,000 employees!

You should check out the website

To follow all the construction going on, Boyd Gaming is building Echelon where the Stardust once stood, that's going to be at least a $5b project. Clark County is now around 2 million in population.
