Samsung A437?

Just picked up a Nokia 6126 and opened it last night. I didn't realize it would be so heavy... the dummy phone at Radio Shack is so much lighter, which is something I didn't think about at the time.

Although I'm partial to Nokias, I remember checking out the Samsung A437 during a previous visit to the store... seems like a nice, light and compact phone... is it worth considering?

Am also considering paying $29.95 for the slimmer and lighter (compared to the 6126) Nokia 6555, whereas the 6126 and A437 are free. BTW I'm getting two phones for a two-line family plan.

I agree. Personally, I have had no problems with the A437, but I appear to be in the minority. The A437 suffers from the same issues as the C417. Stick with Nokia. I would, however, get the 6555. It is worth the $30.

If your local store still has it, go with the 6555. It's an awesome phone. If I had seen this earlier I'd have said go with a SE 580 since it was $29.99 this past week, but the prices changed tonight back to $49.99. Still, an awesome phone for the price.

Another good phone to consider is the Samsung Peridot 737 slider. Excellent reception.
