CINGULAR WIRELESS AND SUNCOM?...

WILL CINGULAR BUY THEM OUT? I LIVE HERE IN NORTH CAROLINA... AND I GET TWO BARS AT MY HOUSE AND WHEN MY FRIENDS COME OVER THEY GET SEVEN ON THERE SUNCOM PHONES WHATS UP WITH THAT? WHEN WILL CINGULAR BUY SUNCOM??!!!??.....

Yeah, my nokia 6200 has 7 bars too. I've seen several Nokia's have more than 5 bars.

Cingular is only buying out Suncom on the Outer Banks and Virginia. Good news for me!

does that go for ALL of north carolina? if it helps I LIVE in FAYETTEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA? WHEN WILL THE BUYOUT GO THROUGH? THANKS!

it may not go for ALL of NC, but Fayetteville is certainly considered part of the Suncom transition. So that there's no confusion, AT&T customers in Fayetteville, will become Suncom customers if no action is taken on thier parts. There is existing Cingular coverage in the area. Suncom customers in the area (if there are any) will not be transitioned anywhere. AT&T stores there will become Suncom stores. Cingular locations WILL NOT be capable of servicing AT&T customers.
