Interesting offer

I am a TDMA customer and waiting for the Q4/07 or Q1/08 phones to come out before deciding to switch. In the meantime I just got a mailing form AT&T to upgrade to GSM for a free nokia 2610 or an LG CU405> the LG requires that I get the $9.99 Media Net feature. Plus, they offer 200 extra minutes a month for the first 12 months or a $25 credit. I would rather get a more advanced phone than the ones offered. Hopefully this offer is valid on other phones also. Maybe the offers will get better as February draws closer. 🙂

I wouldnt offer a phone like that. This guy has a TDMA phone that STILL WORKS! He barely uses his phone, so something basic like a Nokia will work for him. I remember when we offered V3xx's and SYNCs to TDMA customers earlier this year... A lot of them came back for being "too difficult to use"

Actually, I use it every day. It is a nokia 6560 from 2003. I can send and recieve text messages and send SMS messages to email addresses. I am tech savy enough for any phone. I just have'nt upgraded yet. I am enjoying the 300 minutes per month with unlimited nights and weekends and free incoming text messages for $35 a month even with the $5 TDMA charge. Nokia PC suite lets me add games, applications...

I'm not sure of definite shut down dates, don't wait too long or you'll get kicked. But yea don't settle for either of those pieces of crap.
