Every on-line application goes through an HR recruiter via a program called People Click. They get tons of apps each week. They will filter the apps based on experience and your 'test' score. It then goes into the hiring managers People Click folder and they schedule interviews.
It is very easy to get lost in the process regardless of how great you are. If you can, visit the store directly that has open positions posted. Do this during non peak times. Ask for the manager and give him/her and resume. Treat this visit as an interview ie: dont show up in jeans and a wife beater.
