I plan on getting a pay as you go plan but Cingular has a daily $1 fee for usage.
Therefore i am thinking of getting T-mobile instead because there is no $1 fee for daily usage.
Any opinions as to which direction i should go?

yeah lots of ppl have cingular.
i believe it is a $1 daily fee so im probably gonna go T-mobile because they just charge the 10 cents a minute vs the $1 daily fee and 10 cents a minute unless i am mistaken.

Well if lots of people have AT&T, then wouldn't it be more economical to pay $1/day for unlimited calling all day (to your AT&T folks) instead of $0.10 on T-Mobile? Once you spend more than 10 minutes on the phone, you will be paying more on T-Mobile and coverage isn't as good.

$1 a day is only if you want Mobile to mobile and $0.10 per minute rate. If you don't have any AT&T people calling you, I'd either go the $0.25 per min rate or T-Mobile. T-Mobile doesn't compare to AT&T for coverage, though.
