Thinking about switching from T-Mobile

Hi all...

I am currently a T-Mobile customer. I made the switch from Sprint back in January of this year... so I still have about 2 months left on my T-Mobile agreement. I originally made the switch because I needed a GSM phone/plan for all of my business travel needs. My T-Mobile service overseas has been stellar! At home, however, it really sucks! I live in the Los Angeles area (San Fernando Valley). I have called to complain about the lack of service in my area several times, and I'm really at the end of my rope. First, thank you for the responses. But, I have been to both Cingular and AT&T stores this week. They still offer different plans and different phones. This doesn't really make much sense to me. The AT&T store does offer Cingular phones and plans in addition to it's own. I have also been reading about stuff like "migration" fees. When will Cinglar and AT&T truely be one company with the same phones, same plans, and same customer service? And is it worth waiting awhile?

Here's my opinion, and i work with for cingular: T-mobile has better deals and plans, way better then cingular. But T-mobile's coverage and phones leave something to be desired. T-mobile looks like it will be getting some cool phones pretty soon, so unless you get horrible reception, I'd stick with T-mobile a little longer just to see if you like any of the new phones.
