Yes, yes, yes, Rememeber that means that 270K iPhones were sold and 145K were actually activated BY June 30th at 24:00
Could it be the shut down of TDMA that took place in the southern markets in June that kept those numbers a bit low?

It is an estimate nonetheless, which can be off, or even way off.

SAN JOSE, Calif. - AT&T Inc. wiped some of the glow off Apple Inc.'s iPhone on Tuesday, releasing numbers that showed fewer people than expected signed up for service in the first two days of the multimedia cell phone's release.

I knew this phone would be a bust.For $200 it's a GREAT toy. For $600 it only sold to those who are more concerned with "look at me" then reality.
Those who bought the phone with hopes of ripping off their brethren are stuck with a phone they won't activate, LOL
