Seriously people, I don't know if it is advertising or what the puts this idea in your head that having a dropped call every now and then is that big of a deal. How miserable is your life when you dwell over a few dropped calls.
And as far as people who victimized themselves when they drop two calls and and claim that it happens "all the time".
I am not some at&t fanboy, but I do work in the wireless industry and I have been a customer of three different carriers and I am here to tell you that it happens with every carrier out there. For every area where verizon gets service and at&t doesn't, there is an area where at&t works and verizon doesn't.

at&t is reliable most of the time, i just wish they would work on voice QUALITY more than anything, coverage is top knotch, go at&t!!!

We rarely dropped calls in the Atlantic City area, now after the 3G rollout we're having more and more problems with calls dropping, one way audio, and calls completing without audio.
We went from having people tell us they loved the coverage to people complaining about reception problems, in the exact same area. We've even had problems with reception in our store when we had no problem before.
How long did it take them to fix it?
