you have to get software probably from nokia.com to be able to edit as well you will need the data cables to transfer songs. ringtones can only be 30 seconds for most phones that i have run across.

If your at all computer savy this is an easy fix. Get Limewire or Utorrent and download a program called Cool Pro edit. It works wonderfully in helping cut songs up into any length. If you are even a novice at computers this program will help you. Its super simple and can convert wma or acc oamr to mp3 if needed. It also can cut avi and movie files. Its a wonderful program so wonderful i almost thought about paying for it.

I don't offhand, but if you happen to have an old Windows license key, you could consider a virtualization program like Parallels.

This would allow you to run the Windows within your Mac OS and you would be able to run programs (some functionality may not crossover) for Windows within that virtual Windows environment.

Oh yeah, I keep forgetting that Audacity has a Mac Version.

I like it because you can record the audio playing through your speakers.

The easiest way to make a ringtone from one of your songs is using iTunes.

Go to the song in iTunes. Apple - I, or ctrl click get info and in that window click on the tab that says Options. Go to Start Time and pick which part of the song you want it to start, then pick where you would like it to stop. This will shrink the file size, then Go to advanced in the top bar and click on Convert o MP3. Once you do this it will make a new track. Take that track and send it to your phone via bluetooth or however you normally do.

That's the easiest way without having to use micro$oft windows or downloading another program.
