*REAL* Cingular Cust Care/Sales/Tech

I saw a commercial the other day for unlimited talk and unlimited texting. Now, I'm not dumb or not up on my research, but my call center has this TERRIBLE habit of not rolling stuff out to us until the DAY of the change, and I for one, am sick of it. I wasn't aware we had anything involving unlimited talk unless they're finally going to promote the crap out of Unity plans and the mobile-to-mobile, mobile-to-ATT landline unlimited calling. Does any one who actually works directly for the company have any information on what's being/going to be offered so I have at least a little heads up??? I am tired of the ads being more current than we are, and falsely advertising ("4.99 unlimited text" ring a bell?)

The commercials are misleading in every way, even the unity plan isn't an additional 5.00 like they state.

yah, we should file a class-action lawsuit against these at&t retards.

i think the unlimited calling they are advertising simply refers to M2M unlimited calls (which is ridiculous because every carrier has unlimited M2M)

these ads are meant to confuse people into going to the stores and increasing the probability that they either buy something or add some services to their accounts.

are you stupid???
4.99 does give you unlimited text to our wireless customers, how is it false advertising if it's an add on feature???

ease up crackberry, i think he's refferring to how cingular says in the commercial "cingular now brings you unlimited texting for just 5 bucks more"

but it does not mention that it is only to other cingular customers. its not so much as false advertising as it is deliberately misleading

Nope- not stupid. I actually work in an outsourced Care center which doesn't give us timely information (as prev. stated). AND the commercial doesn't state anywhere that it's mobile-to-mobile.

Not a problem.I recently got promoted, so I suppose I no longer have to deal with those questions, but it's still nice to know ahead of time...

Thanks!
