Jake,

I hope not. My feature churn has been ridiculous since the 3000 text/unlimited conversion. Here we go again. This sucks.

Are you saying that there's gonna be a family plan with unlimited text messaging? Can you give more info?

Keep track of all your activations/opportunities and what packages they got. That way when the features change you can call them and tell them you are switching them over. It's a lot of work but you can save yourself some serious cash.

I already do that. The problem is is some of my customers who haven't hit the 180 day period are being switched at other stores. Even though me and my team tell everyone to come back and see us if they make any changes to their account.

The flip side is I am able to convert people who did not originally add the old socs at my store. I actully come out ahead.

I just hate other folks taking money out of my pocket. Ah, the nAture of the industry!

Call the people in the 180 day period too... that's the whole point.

People who feature switch outside of the 180 period don't hurt your commission.

any news or further developments on this?

tmobile has theirs for 19.99, so i think cingular could probably get away with it for 29.99, but anything more would just be insane.

I think vzw has theirs built into the plan. And it looks like there is a $30 difference between the plan with and with out (according to the website). I am already paying $30 so why not..

yah, looks like cingular is a tad slow when it comes to implementing features such as unlimted txting

i personally think the family texting plan would sell very well, and it is convienent to have especially if it is unlimited

Its not on there but it is going to happen. Just like they are going to be releasing a $9.99 International Text Messaging Package that includes 100 International text messages. They are also going to be releasing PDA and Blackberry Plans with unlimited texting for $49.99 per month. Obviously that is only with Blackberry BIS, not BES. Features are also going to be able to be added for Pay as You Go and Pick Your Plan. $4.99 per month for 200 messages, $14.99 per month for a 1500 and $19.99 per month for Unlimited, which will be added sometime in the Third Quarter. These will be for Pay as You Go. Pick Your Plan will be almost the same except it will be $9.99 for 1000 messages instead of the 1500 for $14.99. These will be released in A...
