I am just wondering about that...
I work in beuc and no one has heard anything about it. Were had training on new plants that are starting the 23rd, where the 3000 txt message plan goes to 6000 and etc, but nothing at all about unlimited.
I just want some sort of verification if anyone knows anything about this, maybe a csp resolution number or something
Several customers have called in today about it, (i havent even taken a call in a couple days, but ive been up smeing) and its kinda hard to address the questions when no one knows anything about it, no team leads, not evn our manager.
...
I have a friend who signed up for it online today. It exists.
...
I sold two plans today. They are there.
...
I've sold it 16 times today. It's here.
...
how many aren't going to cause a charge back of some sort?
...
If the plan they had before was vested then there will be no chargeback from what they had. Since almost every customer that changed today was already paying $19.99 for 3000 texts, there's little chance they'll change their mind later.
I've also sold two new features to parents who were offered the starter 200 package, but opted for the unlimited because they didn't want to worry about it.
I wonder how much money Cingular has made today, because I know how much they'll have to pay me for this.
...
not to mention the 16 commercials I have seen about it.
...
Were they for the $5 add on m2m text or the straight up unlimited to everyone and your mother texts?
I wouldn't think they'd have adds out for the big momma yet.
...
they don't wombough is incorrect once again
...
Hey, the adds are still bringing people in. The whole "unlimited texting for $5" is confusing the heck out of people, as Cingular obviously intended it to. Otherwise they would've pitched it as starting at $9.99.
...
What are you talking about I am wrong again your an A**. It said unlimited text to anyone for 5 more a month. On the website it shows unlimited everything for 39.99!!! So corpsman up go look it up!
...
the 5 more a month should be unlimited Cingular to Cingular texting, and the unlimited texting to everyone at $19.99. For phones, unlimited internet and text would be $39.99

When I look at our text messaging offers, it does indeed show unlimited text for 19.99.
I still dislike our commercials that say unlimited text for $5 more... with the fine fine print specifying it's only to other Cingular customers. It does rather serve to sow confusion, and I expect that will be even moreso now that a truly unlimited offer is available.
...
What bugs me about that is that they're not too clear that it's $5 more to an existing texting package, and not just $5 more than not having a package at all.
