So I couldn't figure out how to tether the v3xx but I god the cu500 up and running and it works ok. Is there a phone that has faster speed as far as tethering?

The best in my experience is the blackjack because you don’t have to use the Cingular connection manager, or configure anything with the computer. It’s very easy to use. The blackjacks have an "internet sharing" feature built into it. Just activate it when connected to your computer and you have an internet connection. It also runs on the 3g network so its super fast.

I use a macbook and tethering a v3xx through BT is a breeze.. turn on BT on the phone and press connect.. about a 5 minute initial set up and then just 15 seconds to the net...

Without a 50 dollar piece of SW from Moto.. There are probably ways around it on Windows too but I haven't wanted to spend the time doing so..

I think the V3xx is the fastest out of the box phone (datawise) that Cingular offers.. 3.6 vs the normal 1.8 limit..
