Atlanta and MARTA

Does anyone know if Cingular has some relationship with MARTA to allow for service in the MARTA tunnels?

I don't know for certain, but here they talk about Cingular customers contacting MARTA police directly. Personally, I've never had reception problems in the tunnels, so there must be something down there.
