Moto V551, Trying to transfer ringtones to it

not sure if this is the right place to place this question--maybe help me out if it isn't (i've used the Verizion side for my Moto e815,frequently).

my problem .... i have found a way to build quite a collection of unique FREE ringtones (sound effects, script lines from movies, commercials, etc ) for my phone using various Wav file sites, then converting them for my phone (long story). now i have a family member in another city who has Cingular service, (Moto V551 phone), and i am trying to figure out how i can send (?) quite a few of my tones to him. does the V551 have a Transflash card ?

what type of file extension (i.e. .mp3, .mid, etc.) does it use for ringtones ?

most of my ringtones have been created by downloading (free)...

A) It is an .mp3 file

B) the only way I know you could send it id via an MMS message with the sound attached. You could directly bluetooth the file but it sounds like the phones are not near each other.

if im correct the v551 also can use wav, midi, and amr files as ringtones. but mp3 is best quality.

One word, Bluetooth. Try that to transfer the ringtones from your old phone to the new phone. Make sure that the ringtones are not locked. Hope this helps
