😡 I called AT&T on November 24th to have my home phone number ported over to my cellphone and was told it would be completed by November 28th, I assumed of this year. Since last week I have been on hold for approximately 20 hours and a few of the times for over 4 hours. I have got pain in my neck from holding the phone on my shoulder for all of this time. H-E-L-P.

☹️ best I can give you is sympathy...if a wireless to wireless port that was supposed to take 3-4 hours is taking 5-6 days and a wireline to wireless was supposed to take 4-5 days....you do the math and it aint pretty☹️

There are significant delays in the porting process it seems presently, on both AWS and it's competitors ends. Currently PAGs (Port Administration Groups) from different providers are attempting to resolve known issues... AWS, is however, the only top-six provider using an alternative to TSI Connections (http://www.tsiconnections.com/)to actually manage the port requests.

Estimates for resolution of port-ins and outs will vary, as different ports are in various stages... Determining exactly where your port status is may assist you in an ETR.

No one wants to take blame for anything in life. The "hundreds" of complaints to the FCC were a mere 332 out of the thousands porting, Verizon had over about 150 & you don't see anyone writing articles on Verizon's Troubles in Porting!
