Some Help, Please.......TDMA/GSM Phone

Hey I need some advice here. Okay, you know from my past forums that I have TDMA service here in Gainesville, FL, 32614.
Sometime in 2004, ATTWS will be in my area. I am interested in a phone that has both TDMA/GSM. I looked on the ATTWS phones listed in this forum, and the one I came across to was the Siemens S46. I haven't heard many good things about Siemens, is this perticular model the exception? The user review seem postive about it. Will ATTWS be coming out with other phones in the near future that will both handle TDMA/GSM?
Thank you for finding the time to read this. 🙂

The other model is the t62u; the main problem that comes up is this: If your talking on a gsm tower, and it has to hand the call off to a TDMA(or analog in the case of the t62u), the call WILL drop, and vice versa. Unfortunately, thats the nature of the service. I've heard good things coming as a TDMA rep about the s46 except for that 🤭

This is incorrect. It will NOT drop. There is something called 'seamless roaming' which allows handoffs from cell towers perfectly fine, no problems what so ever. There would be a plethora of complaints about dropped calls ALL the time from multiband customers if what Llenshoz was stating was true.
