I HATE COLD TRANSFERS
i have had 5 cold transfer today, all of which the customer didnt even know so then i have to listen to them b*tch because the idiot just placed them on hold and transfered them. And i usually dont get so mad because holy Sh*t 5 in one day!?!?!? common people.
In my opinion i think people cold transfer because they know we would refuse to take the call because they can fix it, but they dont want to go through the work to fix it, so they dump the call on us, Knowing we in care actually do our job.

sorry to inform you but "cold transfer" is the same thing as "blind transfer. "cold transfer" is AT&T "lingo" back when i started up until Cingular took over....but just for you.....I HATE B_L_I_N_D transfers ...happy?

To me a BLIND transfer is when the customer did not know they were being transferred.
A COLD transfer is when they know that they are being transferred but the rep. doesn't stay on the line to explain the issue.
AND
A WARM transfer is when the rep. does stay on the line through the entire transfer.

we all hate those transfers wheather they'd be blind or cold..... blind transfers are worse though cause the customer gets really pissed when that happens. but i guess it all comes with the job 😉
