Pseudo name...

Link

Mar 10, 2005, 12:22 AM
Sorry to bring this topic back but a guy on my team was trying to give a valid reason as to why he had to have a pseudo name. His only reason was on principle.

Any valid reasons to throw to the TL?

I put my real name into google, pull up pics of me, my address and phone number. Seems like reason enough to me!

The easiest answer would be that you’re simply not comfortable with it. If a TL is going to put up a fuss with that answer I think I'd become an HR issue.

yup go to www.whitepages.com or www.anywho.com and put in your sups name , your ops name, your site directors name and your site directors directors name, throw there own address's home #s in an email to your sup and say it took you less than a minute to find this info online and you can also do a credit chack and a classroom search. if they wont let you use a fake name then ask them to pay to block your home fone # if they wont let you . then use a funny fake name like sputnickerson, destructo or shaboobalah .

Folks, it is not your TM that can determine whether you are allowed to submit for a psuedo name or not. That is the decision of your MO. You don't need any real justification as to why you want a fake last name, some of us in management understand that there are simple ways to find someone using the net. I have not turned down any requests for pseudo names (well one, but she wanted to change her name to something famous, which is the only thing not allowed). So if you want to have your last name changed to something else and your TM denies it, please see your MO, they should be able to send the request to the ID group.
Just as an FYI, the ID group (who approves the name change) doesn't really care about the reason, they just take one of th...
