Any CSR's being asked about the merger yet?

Today was the first day i actually had customers asking about the merger. They were asking whats going to happen to their plans and stuff. 2 customers actually said they hate AWS and want to go to Cingular but if we merge they dont want to be back with AWS if they keep our policy. A few other customers were saying they are going to cancel to go to Cingular to get a new phone and that they would be seeing me in a few months after the merger but they would get a free phone. Those were my fav 😁 I would say I had about 20 customers asking about the merger. Fun day 😁

yes lots of questions, refered them back to media sites and explained that we are last to know. 😁

I have had a few calls this week. But what suprises me are the calls I have gotten from customer's who have gone to the stores (direct AWS stores) and say that they have been told by a store rep "the merger/buyout is going to happen by xx/xx/xx date". How irresponsible is that? No wonder our customer's call in all pissed off. Misinformation at the retail site....yet again.

I for one DO believe that something will happen. Too many "signs" at this point for it NOT to happen, IMO. However, I'm not going to convey that to the customer. There's always that 'wild-card' out there that can throw everything for a loop.
