Is AT&T dropping the motorola v60i? i know they have the new one with color but are they trying to drop the old version of it? Its not available online anymore and there aren't any rebates for it with a single plan?

I need some advice, and the three of you are some of the best I've heard on these forums.
Okay, you know I live in Gainesville, Florida(32614). At the present time I am using ATTWS TDMA service, my contract expired this past august, and I am month to month.
My question is this. Do you think I should stick it out and stay with ATTWS for another 3 months that ATTWS may become available in my area?
Or say the hell of it, jump ship, and go to Verizon?
Both carriers work in the zip codes of 11706 and 32614.

I say stick with AWS. I mean as long as the service is fine and the plan suits your needs. If Verizon offers something that catches your eye enough to go over there, then go. But only bad thing about that, at least that I see, is that if Verizon drops in your area (probably not likely) then your under contract. Wait the 3 months as long as your still getting the service your paying for then make your decision.

Where did you move from? Long as your current rate plan covers the Gainesville area (ie you don't get charged for roaming there), why not continue to use it.

Yes. The V60 Color replaced it. They were giving away the V60i for a 2yr contract (after mail in rebates) to clear stock. It is now discontinued. You may be able to find a store with stock left but that's it.

Yeah....someone in NBO confirmed that this past Wednesday. And quite honestly, I say good riddance. The phone was crap, non-user friendly and was the most returned phone I dealt with this year.

Nokia all the way!!!
