Why do we want PTT? Guess what? At AWS we don't HAVE to push a button to talk we just talk *gasp* the technology of it. full duplex talking.

This just in...with the OVERWHELMING sucess of PTT Nextel is going to be coming out with a new line of CB radios!! I know when I get mine my handle is gonna be Murder 1 (cuz I'm a wireless gangsta!)

Cb radios/ that's a good one. It is new service that will allow units to talk to each other without going through a cell-site like a regular instant contact call.
The idea is for unit to unit calling in an area where there is no Nextel signal.
the units will have 14 channels and privacy codes, it will be more like the Family Service Radios that people use for skiiing etc.
