So The new letter sent from AT&T for us employees kinda gives us a (albeit miniscule) ray of hope. What does everybody think about the new letter?

I think its a positive twist to the negative situation were all facing. It does seem as if they would like to retain the majority of us but that still remains to be seen. But I will gladly take my severance pay and retention bonus and walk. I am sure most everyone would be "offered" a position somewhere somehow. Whether or not that position requires relocation or a pay cut would be the main concern. I am not willing to relocate or take a pay cut just to work for AT&T so I guess that leaves me with little hope of staying around. But I am ok with that.

What is the severence pay you guys are getting for this take-over?

If it is big, I should have stayed until this happened lol instead of leaving in May.
