I am considering switching to Sprint from Cingular. According to the coverage map, my town is dark green. I know I will have voice coverage, but will there be any access to the internet?

DON'T DO IT SPRINT HAS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY WHEN THEIR NETWORK IS DOWN!! only 200k signed up with them last quarter for a reason and their churn is close the highest in the industry for a very good reason. Good luck

the problems you had with sprint were caused by two things. An act of god and yourself!! Get over it and STFU. I have had them for 5yrs and couldn't be happier. I have had some bad CS reps but EVERY company has them. The four days I had verizon with little service in this area I called and got reps as bad or worse then sprint.

To answer your question yes wherever you see green you will have internet also!!

To answer your question:

Yes, anywhere you have a sprint signal, you will internet access at 1xrtt speeds 60-80 kbps. However, it may not be EVDO (high speed) access.

Select power vision on the coverage map. It will show up in yellow/gold.

Dark green will be at least 1x data coverage.
