As of October 1, Sprint raised pay-per-use text messaging rates to $.15 per message. Some see this as a material change to services provided, since unlike 411, a customer cannot use an alternative service.

As such, if it is a material change, customers can be released from their contract within 30 days. However, Sprint has not commented on as to if this is a material change of services provided.

CBS 13 in Sacramento claims they have found an answer. According to their reporting, the change is indeed material, and customers can cancel ETF-free within 30 days (providing they do not pay a bill after October 1, w...

They still offer unlimited text for twenty bucks unlike verizon, we are all fine over here thanks for your concern.

And since a verizon fanboy wrote it. Beat this plan and you have me. 2000 anytime, unlimited pcs to pcs, unlimited N&W, unlilited vision, unlimited text and pics, free second phone with all the options I just stated on that phone too and free roaming. All for 105.00 a month - 10% loyality discount. Makes it around 95 a month. I think I would pay over 150 with verizon fo that.

Also the fact that we have a plan for $5 that includes 300 SMS. Most people who use SMS have a plan for it. It's common sense.

wombough hey how are ya? Well I was just wondering, how is it exactly do you get a loyalty discount? I have been with sprint for 2 years, am i supposed to ask, or they just give it? Thank!
