New Phone Discount
I have been with Sprint now for about 4 years and I really like my service. I am looking for two new phones. I was given a discount on the two phones when I signed my last 2 year contract. Last September my wife droped her phone in some water and I bought an old phone from a co-worker just to get her by until our contract was up and we could get new ones. My question is I am now told that I am able to get the full discount for my phone but not my wife's phone since it was changed a year ago. When I told them that I did not get any discount on her phone, they told me their was nothing they could do about it.

the HUP rebates (Handset Upgrade Program) are appied after 12 or 24 consecutive months of useage on the same device. if you switched phones on your wifes line, then the HUP timeframe started over. if it was nearly a year ago when the phone was swappded out, then you should be coming up to a $75 rebate.
the fact that you didnt get a rebate on the phone you chose to replace your wifes damaged phone with has no bearing on your HUP rebate status. the details of that program and your eligibility will be listed at:

Thanks for your explaination and your help. Any thoughts on when Sprint might have the L7c? I think I will wait for that one.
