Nextel18 comes and goes. He'll go weeks between posts sometimes so I don't necessarily think this is him hiding. He'll post eventually. It might be spin, but he'll post eventually.

He has never missed posting quarterly numbers. He revels in his own B.S. way too much. This is absolutely him not wanting to get torched. He will post it, but after the initial shock of the horrible quarter has faded away.

It would appear that Nextel18 has a very small beanbag, he has ripped Cingular and Verizon for posting much better results than this in the past and always acts like he is an insider with all knowledge. Fact is this, Sprint/Nextel didn't add squat and their Gangsta prepaid group added most of the customers yet has an outrageous churn rate.
Things are not looking good and anyone thinking EVDO Rev A and Q chat are the answer is lost because this is a company that has lost it's direction at this point but hey, the Boost commercials are sooo Gangsta!!! Where you at Sprintel, Where you at???

That's not the half of it... All the cry-babying about 'why is our stock so undervalued ($19/share) versus recently spun-off Embarq ($40/share)'... Hmmmm....

That's why I dumped the stock withing weeks of their merger. I knew that in the long run they would have problems supporting 2 separate incompatible technologies in 2 different frequency bands and only recently is the dual protocol phone "close to coming out" and who knows how that will work.
In my industry most of the technology savvy end users, including Motorola field implementation engineers and technicians that I work with have dumped NEXTEL iDEN due to their poor performance and switched to Verizon.
Once the Public Safety re-banding is done and the upper SMR frequencies are clear and contiguous I predict Sprint/NEXTEL to deploy CDMA there and iDEN will no longer be a problem for them.

With Sprint/Nextel's less than stellar performance recently does anyone think that Qchat will be fast tracked? I know Sprint has already updated EVDO rev A time tables.

They have no choice except to do that except that they need to give the subscriber an added bonus of some find to switch from iDEN to Qchat, especially the large volume users. Companies don't want have to take on the extended time, plop down a whole bunch of cash to change phones, and lock themselves into a product that may not work for them.
It's buyer beware with Sprint/NEXTEL.
