With all of the problems other carriers have had with launches I am glad they make sure it works right before they give it their blessing.
"False" launch dates are going to happen with technology, it is inevitable. By now all of Europe as well as Japan were going to have seamless WCDMA networks in place that is if you would have believed the press back in 1999. To the credit of the European carriers they were wise enough to make sure it is a workable system before major launches.
When EVDV comes out is will be great. If it comes out before handsets and before it can be made to work reliably there will be a problem.
this what ever it is mentions a sanyo 5500 recall. there was never and there never will be a recall of the sanyo 5500s in fact there was never even talk with in sprint of a recall on the 5500s
