Sprint or Verizon

I just switch from Cingular to Sprint about two days ago ,and I was wondering if Sprint or Verizon was better as far as coverage and customer service. I live in Tennessee and signal strentgh and customer service were the main problems that I had with Cingular ,so I want to make sure that I did't have those problems again.
Well, according to JD Power and Associates, Sprint is at the bottom of Customer Service. Cingular is 2nd to last. Verizon is 2nd best. 🙂
If I were you, I'd go to a Verizon owned store and try out the live phones in the store, and try callin someone, or your voicemail, and see how it sounds on both ends. Both Sprint and Verizon give you a trial period in which to try out the phone and return it. For Verizon, it's 15 days. You could get both, then return one, depending on which works better in your area. Let us know which works out best for you!
As far as customer service, they understand it has been a problem in the past and are improving. I have never had a problem.

If you add Free and Clear America to your Sprint Plan, you will have the advantage of both Sprint and Verizon's networks. Basically, when you are off the Sprint network you will be roaming on Verizon with no roaming charges. If you want to use data, stay with Sprint. Better handset offerings and only $15 unlimited data vs. $44.95 for Verizon.

I have unlimited data with VZW for $15 on my EVDO capable phone. It is only $44.95 if you have a PDA phone.
Sprint's Fair & Flexible America (the new plan) is the best plan in offer in US. It's combination of Sprint & Verizon's network and you will not be charged for roaming. And the Fair & Flexible plan really save you a lot of money, just $0.05 for an extra minute compare to Verizon's (and all others') $0.40 per minute.
Sprint's PCS Vision (data plan) is really so great that $15 bring you unlimited data usage.
It's digital network is just like what they said, it's really "crystal clear". Go to Sprint and try out an handset for 14 days, and you will feel their technology is definitely the best...

fair in flexible is so Funny to me why can't people just manage their mintues? Its not that hard at all just know your limit and stay within it we are all grown people.
fair and flexable is not about manageing your mins. it is about only paying for what you use. before if oyu averaged 1600 mins a month you had to get a 2000 min plan. why pay for 400 mins you do not need. that is 4800 extra mins a year. and what if maybe in the next 2 years i want to switch jobs and so one month i will be useing the phoen a lot trying to job interviews? why should i then be charged $.40 a min? or i go on vacation or what ever?
the idea behind fair and flexable is to only pay for what you use.
