Hotline question ?????

Does anyone know exactly how long it takes for a customer to be hotlined before they've paid their deposit? Can Sprint PCS deposits be billed to the customer's account?

IF your lucky you might be able to go 48 hours without having to pay the deposit. But since the deposit is required at time of activation you should not be able to leave the store without paying it first. I have seen phones shut off within hours of activation due to the deposit not being paid. GOOD LUCK 😁

I've seen hotline happen as soon as 5 minutes after activation and deposits can't be billed to the account to prevent hotlining

no you cannot bill the deposit on the account the whole reason that a deposit is due is because the customer is a credit risk to a deposit is required so sprint can minimize the loss when the customer defaults and since sprint typically looses on average $300+ at the point of activation the phones will be hotlined shortly after activation. i believe p2k gives a 15 min grace period
