The ship is finally starting to right. That said, any loss in subscribers is not a good thing. Do the everything plan at $69.99 and watch gross adds. Keep things as they are and customer growth will be minimal. Just my 2 cents.

I'd be even more aggressive and make T-mobile's deals look like the small time. Frankly the market is mature and the only thing left to do is get into a price war. 🤤

And at the end of the price war, we all have unlimited service for $40.00/monthly!

Only downside is that the corporate CEOs don't get to take home millions a month. 🤤

+Sprint-branded wireless services are only available on the CDMA network, which gained more than 3,000 post-paid customers after a net transfer of 93,000 customers from the iDEN network.

So....... They gained 3,000 CDMA subscribers AFTER transferring 93,000 from iDEN to CDMA.... So it sounds like they actually lost subribers... AGAIN. I want Sprint to do better, but at least I'm in touch with reality.

A transfer from iDEN to CDMA is not a loss of customers; it's a definite bonus. Most iDEN customers aren't too impressed with their text/data service and coverage, while the superior CDMA network has 3G speeds and much larger coverage with roaming option.

In short, customers are generally happier on Sprint CDMA as opposed to Nextel iDEN. Seems like a big plus to me.

I agree that customers swapping service between CDMA and iDEN isn't losing customers. Only the idiots would think otherwise. 🤣

Customer happiness really depends on what they need vs. what is avaialble. Businesses generally tend to be happier with Nextel products, despite the defection in recent years. Regular cu

Unfortunately there are no do-overs in life, but if there were...RUN LIKE HELL when Nextel became available for acquisition. Just a dumb *BLEEP*ed idea. Scott Ford offers Alltel up to you on a silver platter and you turn him down, but the proposition of acquiring a company with a totally incompatible technology appealed to you? I'm glad those guys aren't running Sprint into the ground any longer.

One of the main reasons they went after NEXTEL is because of they owned the frequency that WiMax was going to run on.

From what I've read, they went for Nextel because of spectrum, not customers per say.

That is just crazy! I don't understand Sprint. AJ says that Sprint has licenses to cover more area than they do. All I know is that Alltel would have been a great fit. Verizon would not be sitting so pretty without Alltel to fill in those holes.
