I've been with Sprint for several months now, and am still very pleased with Sprint. All you ever hear is how bad Sprint is, and that couldn't be further from the truth. I get great service in my area, most likely due to living in a larger city, so coverage is great.

I recently went home for the holidays, my parents live in a small town, and I still had good service. I will admit there were some spots that service was sporadic and spotty, but for the most part my phone managed to keep a bar.

I helped my friend move from her parents home, the house was beyond nowhere, and when I got there, my phone rang, I was surprised but I had service still, it kept service except a few times where I was in the basement.

Phone service is all about WHERE you are. Spirit has good coverage. The problem is they have horrible customer service that plus poor business ethics makes the company bleed. I may be good at something but if everything else expect that sucks it casts a bad shadow on it. Frankly I hope they get better. There are so many jobs at stake. It'd be a sad day. I'm not a sprint user or a worker but still you hate to see your competion hurt. Lose yes but not hurt.

You're right, its about WHERE YOU ARE. When I hear AT&T has the most coverage nationwide, I agree. But if that coverage doesn't extend to the areas you need it, how is it the best service for you? More research needs to be done on the consumer's end before committing to a contract to ensure sufficient coverage for where they need it. Too many people listen to their friends and family about who's good and who's not and end up with an awesome phone and an awesome plan but no signal.

Or you'll have a glitchy issue with a phone and you'll take it back to the Sprint store and have someone tell you, you just don't know how to use it!

I've been with Sprint for five years. I've been satisfied with the phones I've had in that time, and I'm thrilled by the coverage I have, even in the hills. But I'll complain about the crappy customer service until t...
