sprint reps please advise

if i bring my own device to sprint do i still have to sign a 2 year agreement.

for a new account or your just switching a phone thats already on an account? if its the first, then yes, a new account even with a phone thats brought in require a new 2yr, for the second one no, you can bring in any phone at any time( as long as its sprint branded) and you will not have to sign an agreement.

For the first time ? Even then sign a contract ? Vzw and att don't require you to, I think

it requires an agreement AND a deposit even if you bring your own in. the only time you can do month to month is when you have,
(a)completed your first 2yr agreement with sprint OR (b)you choose a 200 minute plan with N&W starting at 9pm with mobile to mobile for $5 and 7pm N&W for $5 as well.

if it's a sprint approved phone then it should come over and you pay the activation stuff and then you can start a plan w/o 2yr SA, certainly if someone does make you sign one you definitely have a good case to void their arguement.
